In the first quarter of 2025, Cloudflare blocked 20.5 million DDoS attacks (358% year-over-year (YoY) increase and a 198% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) increase). 6.6 million, targeted the Cloudflare network infrastructure. Were blocked approximately 700 hyper-volumetric DDoS attacks.

Verisign’s latest Domain Name Industry Brief reports that total domain name registrations worldwide reached 368.4 million by the end of Q1 2025, marking a 1.1% increase from the previous quarter.
